Pici w/ Roasted Garlic Cream Sauce

COOK TIME: 90 MIN | SERVES: 2

 

Ingredients:

  • head of garlic

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • zest from 1 lemon

  • black pepper to taste

  • 200g flour

  • 90g water

  • splash of olive oil

Directions:

  1. Roast garlic in tinfoil for 30-40 minutes at 350°F.

  2. Once done, smash the garlic and combine it in a pan with cream, lemon zest, and black pepper.

  3. To make the pici, combine flour, water, olive oil, and a pinch of salt.

  4. Let dough rest for 1 hr.

  5. Roll out the dough into thin strips and cook in salted water.

  6. Toss in the sauce and plate up. Enjoy!
